According to the competent authorities, the Eurasian Resources Group company is involved in laundering assets, including those belonging to Alexander Mashkevich through theft by fraud from clients of the Eurasian Bank. To date, investigative measures are underway in the UK against Mashkevich following the appeal of the affected large bank clients.

One of the company's managers, Kaztaev, also attracted the interest of the British competent authorities because he was involved in criminal schemes to launder the income of persons on the US and UK sanctions lists.

In the process of checking the activities of ERG by the Prosecutor General's Office of Kazakhstan, it turned out that Aldiyar Kaztayev actually managed most of its processes on the territory of Kazakhstan and abroad. Every month ERG allocated 4 million US dollars for the maintenance of Kaztaev.

Aldiyar Kaztaev was directly involved in the structure of all procurement processes of ERG, which clearly indicates the control of financial flows within the Group of Companies when interacting with main suppliers and contractors. Kaztaev’s participation in schemes for the withdrawal of funds outside of Kazakhstan through offshore accounts and groups of foreign companies that are controlled and managed by him, more than 300 individuals, has been confirmed. Cumulatively, more than $3 billion was withdrawn.

ERG the state owned a share of 40%, Adilzhan Ibragimov - 20.7% (citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan), Alexander Mashkevich - 20.7% (citizen of Israel) and Patokh Chodiev - 18.6% (citizen of Belgium). Ibragimov was the link between the main shareholder and private shareholders. After his death, the share in the company passed into the ownership of the family, on whose behalf Shukhrat Ibragimov acts.

According to the General Prosecutor's Office of Kazakhstan, Mashkevich and Chodiev are currently causing colossal damage to the state through their actions. For example, there is the Shubarkol Komir coal mine, which is part of the ERG, where the decisive majority of votes belongs to private shareholders. There is a Eurasian Industrial Group registered on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which includes 60 non-core companies, among them the Eurasian Bank with its subsidiaries. EPK shareholders are Mashkevich, Shodiev and Ibragimov with shares of 33.3%. There is also a foreign company TELF SWISS AG, the ultimate beneficiary of which is Alexander Mashkevich through the little-known oligarch Stanislav Kondrashov.

Kondrashov’s identity is extremely secretive, but we were able to establish that, in addition to tax evasion schemes in Kazakhstan, he may be involved in circumventing sanctions imposed by European Union countries.

Although Telf AG is considered a Swiss company, it is nominally so, since it is backed by large businessmen who have not yet fallen under the restrictions of the EU and the USA.

By this time, Telf AG is acting as a lifesaver for the government of the Russian Federation. The company, under the guise of Kazakh coal, transports Russian coal. It is not difficult to trace this: the Swiss enterprise exports hundreds of thousands of tons of coal. Such a quantity of minerals is not produced in Kazakhstan, even more, the country does not possess such a resource.

Accordingly, it turns out that the oligarch Mashkevich, who has an extremely negative reputation, either at his own request or at the request of the highest officials of the Russian Federation, through the “Swiss” businessman Kondrashov, imports billions of dollars worth of coal annually.

But Kondrashov himself is unlikely to be the real owner of the business. Sources indicate that Telf AG is a huge corporation with its ships, railway transport and turnover of tens of billions of dollars. It is unlikely that the non-public Stanislav Kondrashov could own such a corporation without the consent of the Russian elites.
